First Light

If you're looking for a project that's satisfying, not exhausting, First Light is for you.

Let your shoulders drop as the lace unfolds with simple increases and decreases in stockinette stitch. There’s enough to keep you interested, but not too much to wreck your flow.

You work this asymmetric triangle shawl on the bias, casting on at one tip and increasing stitches as you knit toward the opposite long edge. Slip-stitch edges and an I-cord bind-off add a polished finish.

This pattern is designed to work with you. Knit it larger. Knit it smaller. Use the yarn you want. You’re in control.
