Greetings from Jyväskylä Knit Festival 2018

I spent last Saturday in sunny and warm Jyväskylä, at Finland’s biggest and finest knit event, Jyväskylä KnitFest. A highlight of the knit year for many knitters around these parts of the world. In addition to local Finnish shops and yarn dyers, the festival had vendors from around the world, like SnailYarn, Walcot Yarns and Stephen & Penelope Fine Yarns.

I was there to sign copies of my new knit book, Lumoavat neulehuivit, and of course to meet old and new knit friends. It was a good day! Happy people, gorgeous yarn and a perfect summer day. Thanks so much for everyone who stopped by to say hi and chat. I’m already looking forward to next year’s KnitFest.
