Desert Rain is a sophisticated and delicate triangle shawl with garter stitch and diagonally moving eyelet bands.
Wonderfully relaxing to knit, it’s worked from the bottom up, starting with a single stitch.
And all you need is one skein of fingering weight yarn! Perfect for those luxurious yarn you’ve been wanting to try out.
Yarn
One skein of SnailYarn Silky Linen Fingering (50% alpaca, 25% silk, 25% linen; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g). Shown in colourway Olive.
Or approximately 400 m / 437 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.
Needles
Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle. Or size that gives you pattern gauge.
Shawl is worked flat but I recommend using an 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
