This beautiful wrap is inspired by autumn – the darker evenings and all the glorious colours in nature. Late Harvest is a crescent shaped shawl that’s easy to throw on your shoulders in a cold office or to wrap around your neck for a walk in the crisp air.

Late Harvest is a pleasant knit with plenty of familiar garter stitch. A simple slipped stitch pattern on stockinette creates texture and keeps you engaged. The perfect project for when you want to slow down and enjoy the season.

Yarn

Two skeins of Manos del Uruguay Milo (65% Merino, 35% Linen; 347 m / 380 yds per 100g). Shown in colourway Jaipur.

Or approximately 674 m / 737 yds of similar sport weight yarn.

Needles

Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle. Adjust needle size to obtain pattern gauge.

Shawl is worked flat but I recommend using a 100 cm / 40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.

Gauge

20 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch, before blocking

Finished measurements

After blocking
221 cm / 87 in (width) x 61 cm / 24 in (depth)

p: purl
