Spring Street shawl pattern from Woolenberry

New shawl pattern Spring Street is here!

Spring Street is an airy and light shawl with a beautiful allover lace pattern of interlocked leaves. The lace may look complicated, but it’s actually easy and relaxing to knit. I promise!

You’ll learn the pattern repeat by heart after you’ve completed it a few times. You’re going to love knitting it!

The pattern has both written and charted instructions, so you can use whichever you find easier to follow.

You can make your Spring Street as big or petite as you want.

The shawl is knitted from the bottom up and the size is easily adjustable – just keep on working the pattern repeat until you run out of yarn or reach the size you love.

I used 2 skeins of North Light Fibers Spring Street (100% Falkland Islands merino wool; 283 m / 310 yds per 70 g skein) for the sample. To knit a shawl that’s the same size as mine, you’ll need about 542 m / 592 yds of fingering weight yarn. If you want to go bigger, just gather more yarn!
