On my needles: Ardent shawl
Another Ardent shawl on my needles!
I love revisiting my own patterns. It’s a wonderful way to relax, to simply follow the pattern instructions without having to do any math or problem solving.
I can knit a few rows here and there, in between my other projects for new designs.
I have plenty of single skeins in my stash, so it was fun choosing the yarn. I’m sure you can relate. :)
I knitted my previous Ardent (see below) with DyeForWool Merino/Silk Fingering (75% merino, 25% silk; 400m / 437 yds per 100 g) in Withered Lupin.
While I love the beautiful lilac colour, I wanted to knit another one in a lighter and brighter colourway.
Now I’m using Malabrigo Sock (100% merino; 402 m / 440 yds per 100 g) in Ochre. It’s such a happy yellow, perfect for summer!
I’m excited to see Ardent grow on my needles. And as a simple one skein wonder, it’ll be a quick knit!
