Solace has been re-worked into a soft and soothing wrap by knitting it with wool and mohair. The mohair is carried throughout, creating a shawl that is both lightweight and luxuriously warm. This dreamy new sample is as soft as a cloud and I edited the instructions to reflect the changes. All you need to do is play with colour.
Choose two colours of fingering weight wool, add a lace mohair yarn and you’re all set for a thoroughly enjoyable project you’ll love both making and wearing. The mohair held throughout creates a lovely marled effect and ties the colours together beautifully. Mine is knitted with Lamana Milano and Premia in soft winter shades, but the options are endless.
